My precious child of God, may the Lord deliver you from all your difficulties and bless you. God's promise for today is from Joshua 5:9. It says, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." The children of Israel had to suffer among the Egyptians. They were treated as slaves and had to work so hard. But they looked unto the Lord and cried out to Him. At that time, the Lord sent Moses and delivered them in a miraculous way. In the same way, dear child of God, we too will go through tribulations and sufferings in this world. We will also face all kinds of reproaches.
In Bible times, Rachel, the wife of Jacob, cried out, saying she had no child and was facing reproach. God heard her cry and blessed her with two children. In the New Testament, there was a man called Zechariah, a devout man of God. His wife, too, had no children. Perhaps you are experiencing similar challenges, such as barrenness, unemployment, or business loss, and you are facing reproach. You must remember to always look to the cross, where the Lord Jesus Himself endured extreme reproaches. He humbled Himself before the Father, hanging on the cross, giving His own life, sacrificing everything. He has already done everything for us on the cross. So, what should we do when we face reproach? We must look unto Jesus and cry out, "Lord, You have gone through reproach. Now I am going through reproach. Master, please deliver me. Be with me, Father, and help me to come out of these reproaches."
Reproaches will come. This world is full of darkness. It is an ungrateful world. Sometimes, reproach may even come from those you have helped and cared for. What should we do at such times? Look to the cross. Kneel down before the Lord Jesus Christ and cry out to Him, saying, "Father, deliver me from all these reproaches, all kinds of infirmities, and all kinds of sufferings." When you cry like that, the Lord will perfectly understand your pain because He Himself went through reproach. Even now, my friend, would you look unto the Lord in prayer? Whatever your reproach may be, God is able to banish it from your life. As you pray, humble yourself before the Lord and cry unto Him. He will deliver you from all kinds of reproaches.
PRAYER:
Loving Father, You are the God who sees my every tear and understands my every reproach. Today, I come before You with a heart weighed down by shame, sorrow, and rejection. Just as You rolled away the reproach of Egypt from Your children, roll away every burden from my life. Lord Jesus, You endured the ultimate reproach on the cross for my sake, and so I know You can understand me completely. I cry out to You now, Father, asking You to deliver me from every situation that is causing shame and failure in my life. You alone are my help and hope. Let Your Holy Spirit fill me with peace, strength, and restoration. I trust You, Lord, to turn my mourning into joy and my reproach into honour. Thank You for loving me so deeply. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
