Dear friend, today we have a beautiful promise to meditate upon from Psalm 103:11: “For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him.” What a vast, immeasurable love! The psalmist David also declares in Psalm 57:10, “For great is Your love, reaching to the heavens.” God's love cannot be measured by any human scale. Its depth is unfathomable, its width endless, and its height reaches the heavens. Because His love is so great, He forgives all our sins, heals all our wounds, and restores all our brokenness. It was this same love that led Jesus to the cross. Out of His great love, He gave His life, His body to be bruised, and His blood to be shed for our redemption. What a Savior! Even when we fail Him, He is ready to forgive us again and again. His mercy never runs dry. The Bible says in Isaiah 38:17, “You have put all my sins behind Your back.” What a comforting truth! Out of His great love, God refuses to remember our past mistakes. When we come to Him with a humble heart, He embraces us and says, “My child, you are forgiven.”
Dear friend, let me share a small story to help us understand this unconditional love. When my father was a little boy, he was once playing with his friend while eating some snacks. His friend asked for some, but mischievously, my father gave him limestone powder instead. The boy’s throat burned and his tongue was injured. His friend’s mother came and angrily complained to my grandmother. But my grandmother, out of deep love for her son, refused to believe he could do such a thing. She said, “My son is gold; he cannot do this.” My father’s name was Thangasamy, which means “gold.” That mother’s love made her overlook her child’s mistake. Likewise, dear friend, our Heavenly Father looks at us through the blood of Jesus and says, “My son, my daughter is gold. I will forgive them.” This is the nature of God’s great love. It is a love that covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). No matter how far you have gone, His arms are open wide to receive you again. Come as you are to Jesus. Do not be afraid of your past. His love is greater than your sin, and His forgiveness deeper than your failure.
Because His love is so great, we have hope even when the world rejects us. People may accuse you and remind you of your wrongs, but God says, “I have thrown your sins into the depths of the sea” (Micah 7:19). When His love fills your heart, you will begin to live a new life free from guilt, shame, and condemnation. He calls you not to remain in your old ways but to rise up as His beloved child, shining with His glory. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high is His mercy toward those who fear Him. So, surrender your heart to Jesus today. Let Him wash you clean, restore your joy, and lift you to greater heights. Truly, what a joy it is to experience the forgiveness of all our sins! Dear friend, do not turn back to your old life. Keep walking closer to God. Let His love surround you, fill you, and make you whole. His great love will embrace you, strengthen you, and carry you safely into the days ahead.

Surround me with Your love and protection. Lift me to greater heights in Your grace. In Jesus’ most loving name I pray, Amen.
