My precious child of God, may the Lord give you peace and joy and all His abundant blessings. My friend, in this world, we are troubled many times, troubled with so many problems, problems of day-to-day life. But this word, Joshua 21:44 says, “The Lord will give them rest on every side.” This is the promise given by the Lord to you today. You want rest, happiness, joy, consolation, and comfort; the Lord says, “I will give you, come unto Me.” Matthew 11:28 says, “Come to Me all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Are you burdened with many worries, my friend? People are troubling you like anything. People are troubling you because you have loans all over the place. But God says, “Come unto Me, come unto Me. I will give you rest.”

What about you, my friend? Do you have a close communion with the Lord? Habakkuk 3:16 says, in the days of trouble, He will invite them with His troops. And Matthew 11:28, the Lord says again, “Come to Me all you who labour and are heavy laden, I will give you rest.” How will the Lord give you rest or comfort? The Bible says, through the word of God. The more you read the word of God, the more you will be comforted. Romans 15:4 says, “Through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures we might have hope.” Psalm 119:50 also says, “Your word, Lord, has given me life.” And Psalm 94:19 says, “Your word comforts my soul.” The more you read the word of God, the more you will be comforted through the word of God.

Because the word of God has life in it. Really, it has life in it. It will speak to you at the right time. And when you wait in the presence of God, the Lord shall come and give you rest. No other way. Seek Him with all your heart. Read the word of God as much as you can. The word will comfort you. The Lord will speak to you. Wait in the presence of God, the Lord Himself will hear your cry and give you comfort and release you from all your problems. Do you have the practice of looking unto the Lord? Come, let us hold on to the Lord. Cry unto Him. He will give you peace, consolation, comfort, and the way you have to go.

PRAYER: 
Lord, I come unto You with all my burdens and worries. You see the troubles surrounding me on every side. According to Your promise, give me rest on every side. Teach me to seek You with all my heart. Help me to read and hold on to Your Word daily.  Let Your Word comfort my soul and give me life. Speak to me at the right time, Lord. Hear my cry and release me from all my problems. Guide me in the way I have to go.  In Jesus’ precious name, I pray, Amen.
